A sub-topic of DNS Abuse is fraudulent registrations, e.g. using a stolen credit card to register domains. Registrars and registries (with the support of CleanDNS) have been developing a framework to combat DNS fraud. This topic would be relevant for Ry and Rr audiences.

Building on a popular session from the Paris 2024 CPS, we'll continue to look at real examples of reported phishing, in order to build consensus on what is, or is not a Registrar's responsibility.
The session will aim to demonstrate the utility in looking beyond each individual abuse report, and that by pivoting on data within confirmed abuse cases, you can reduce your risk and potential future costs.
